Angel  Figueroa: (Professional Instructor & Head Judge)

Angel Figueroa is returning to Swustlicious for his 8th year!  Angel has received international acclaim for his performance, choreography, and dance instruction all over the U.S., Europe, and Japan. His choreography and dancing have been seen of film, video, television (most recently on All My Children), in print (Bridal Guide Magazine) and stage. Angel is an award winning competitor in Mambo, Hustle, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and International Latin. He holds over 30 titles in American Style Rhythm including Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Division Champion. He has represented the United States at the World Cup in Switzerland. Angel is the 1998 ASDC, 1997 SOS Grand National, and the 1996 US Open Cabaret Champion.  Angel has been competing on the West Coast Swing circuit since 1999. Since then, he and his wife, Debbie, have won many major titles including the USA Grand Nationals, Dallas Dance, ASDC, and many others. Angel is also a top dancer in Invitational Strictly Swings and Jack and Jills. He has won the 2005 Invitational Jack and Jill competition at Swingtime in the Rockies in Denver, CO. Dawn Garrish:  (Professional Instructor & Judge)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Dawn for her 1st Swustlicious!

Dawn has been teaching social and competitive dance in the Washington, DC area for over 32 years. She started as a baton twirler at the age of 5, winning the US Title in Dance Twirl at the age of 12.    It wasn’t until she hit the local bar scene that she fell in LOVE with couples dancing. Her knowledge in Competitive Country Dance and West Coast swing is extensive. She holds 7 US Open swing titles in 4 different divisions.  She was the first Masters Country Dance World Champion.  She has won over 25 Top teacher awards, and was inducted into the Country Dance Hall of Fame in 2016.  She has been judging for over 25 years and found her niche as Head Judge 10 years ago.  Since then she can be found as the Head judge of many event across the US. She prides herself in idea that “The competitors come first”!  Her memory is (normally) amazing and never minds if you ask her, her opinion. She is after all a MOM of two upcoming dancers themselves!


Debra Hampton:  (Professional Instructor & Judge)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Debra back to Swustlicious!


Debra has been dancing, teaching, performing, choreographing,  and judging for over 40 years. With a strong focus on technique. Debra's teaching style is both fun and informative.  She is one of the originators of Hustle USA, the country's first all hustle dance event.  Paving the way for other Hustle Events such as Disco America and IHSC. Debra is the recipient of the Eddie Vega Award and most recently the Arte Phillips Award.  Debra is a 2-time champion of Disco America and IHSC. She is an award winning pro-am champion and top teacher. 

Gregory Scott & Lemery Rollins:  (Professional Instructors & Judges)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Greg & Lemery for their 1st Swustlicious!

Greg and Lemery have over 35 years of dance experience combined, winning many dance titles individually along the way. Greg started in American Style Ballroom and competed in Country. He also has a background in ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Lemery competed in Ballroom, dancing International 10 Dance, and is also skilled in American Ballroom and Salsa.

Together Greg and Lemery have become a successful West Coast Swing couple competing in Showcase since 2009. They are multiple time NASDE Tour Champions, Showcase Champions, and US Open Top 5 Champions. Their love and passion for West Coast Swing make them a sought after couple. They are known for their technical expertise and unique teaching style. They look forward to continuing to share their art and knowledge with the dance community World Wide. 


Katie Fallon:  (DJ)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Katie for her 8th Swustlicious!


Katie Fallon is a West Coast Swing and Hustle DJ from Cleveland, Ohio, who loves sharing her passion for music. In 2011 she was introduced to the craft, trained by a fellow DJ and started DJing for local dances around Cleveland. Katie continues to travel to dances and national events around the United States and internationally.  Some events she has DJed in the past year include Spotlight Dance Challenge, MADJam, River City Swing, Swustlicious (2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016!), Atlanta Swing Classic, CASH Bash, and Winter White in Oslo, Norway. Katie aims to create a unique groove when DJing at social dances and to inspire dancers when DJing at competitions.

Kelvin & Lori Ann Roche: (Professional Instructors & Judges)Sparklage Productions welcomes Kelvin & Lori Ann back for their 5th Swustlicious! 


This couple has performed all over the world.  With their unique style of latin and theatre arts, they have captured many titles. They have worked with numerous stars such as: Vanessa Williams, Conan O’Brian, Liza Minelli, and many more. Kelvin and Lori Ann have also worked on many movies, commercials, and television shows.  They appeared in the move “El Cantante” with Marc Anthony ad Jennifer Lopez, and the Disney movie “Enchanted” staring Patrick Dempsey, Susan Sarandon and Amy Adams.  They are 9 time World Hustle Champions — Kevlin Roche & Lori Ann Greenhouse-Roche.Kelvin & Lori Ann can be contacted directly at:


Kristen Shaw:  (DJ)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Kristen for her 1st Swustlicious!


Kristen enjoys many aspects of contributing to the community through teaching, event promotion, and more, but particularly through deejaying, which she has done locally in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York for the last few years. She's also a deejay at national level events, including Boston Tea Party, Summer Hummer, Charlotte Westie Fest, and more, and is excited to deejay at Swustlicious for the first time!

Lori Wahl Rousar:  (Professional Instructor & Judge)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Lori for her 7th Swustlicious!  Lori Wahl Rousar was born and raised in Ohio.  She began dancing and competing at country events in 1998. After a few years, she changed her focus to West Coast Swing and Hustle.  Currently Lori competes at the All-Star level in West Coast Swing and travels the country on average 40 weekends a year teaching and judging. ​She truly loves the social aspect of dance and is grateful for the wonderful people it has brought to her life.

Robert Cordoba:  (Professional Instructor, Judge, DJ)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Robert back for the 8th Swustlicious!

Robert Cordoba has been dancing, teaching, performing, choreographing and judging for over thirty years. He started competing in International Latin at the age of sixteen when he was a member of two U.S. International Latin American formation teams (placing 5th and taking the bronze medal at the World Ballroom Formation Team Championships). He was a top U.S Amateur competitor representing the at events throughout until he switched to West Coast Swing in 1990. Within two years he won his first U.S. Open title.  For the past twenty years Robert has averaged approximately forty weekends per year traveling around the world to teach West Coast Swing. His impressive list of accomplishments includes: 7 U.S. Open titles, 4 consecutive USA Grand National titles, 4 consecutive N.A.S.D.E. titles, multiple J&J and Strictly Swing titles, was voted best Classic Swing Dancer by Dance Action magazine, was awarded “U.S. Open Social Dancer”, and he was the first person to win 3 consecutive US Open titles.  Robert is a member of the “Super 7″ – dancers who won BOTH the Showcase and the Classic Divisions at the U.S. Open. He is a California Swing Dance Hall of Famer, Dallas D.A.N.C.E. Hall of Famer and a World Swing Dance Hall of Famer.  Robert Cordoba has judged every major event including the Grand Nationals and U.S. Open multiple times. He has been the head judge, MC and DJ at events throughout the Europe and the South Pacific. He is among the first group of professionals to help get the West Coast Swing scene started in New York; has been teaching throughout Europe since the late 90′s (helping to establish WC Swing in Europe); and was one of the first Americans to introduce WC Swing to the South Pacific back in 2000.

Ryan Dobbins:  (Professional Instructor, Judge)

Sparklage welcomes Ryan Dobbins back for his 3rd Swustlicious!

Having fun as a country line dancer, Ryan quickly took note of the couples on the sides of the dance floor and found a new interest. While getting exposure to multiple forms of partner dances, West Coast Swing and Hustle sparked a joy and drive that would not disappear. Currently, these dances have him traveling, teaching, judging, and competing as an All Star dancer at multiple events.

Victor Loveira:  (Emcee & DJ)

Sparklage Productions welcomes Victor back to Emcee for his 7th time at Swustlicious, as well as to DJ several of our monthly parties!

Victor has been a DJ since 1980, he started djing at West Coast Swing events in 1996. Victor’s first national swing event was The Texas Classic (now America’s Classic), in 1996, which was held in Dallas, TX. From that point on, he has had the good fortune of djing at many of the country’s top swing events. Including, The US Open, Dallas DANCE, Boogie by the Bay, USA Grand Nationals, Americas’ Classic, Liberty Swing, Swing Diego, Swing Fling, Summer Hummer, Tampa Bay Classic, Capital, Mad Jam, Seattle Easter Swing and Phoenix 4th of July. In 2005, Victor was honored with the “Allswing DJ of the Year” award and in 2012 Victor was inducted into the DJ Swing Hall of Fame receiving the “Wetzel Award,” named after Kenny Wetzel.   Not only will you hear Victor’s music, but at many events you will hear his voice on the microphone, as he has been the emcee at many major events.  Also, he has begun to pass on his DJ knowledge through teaching his workshop Music and Dancing, as well as offering private lessons and mentoring to new DJs.  You may also catch him on the dance floor competing in Jack & Jill’s and Strictly Swings at the All-Star division.

Chow Brothers Photography:
Sparklage welcomes Jim Chow, of Chow Bros Photography, back to Swustlicious!  He has been with Swustlicious every year!

Based in New York, the Chow Bros started out as hobbyist photographers at their favorite swing events. Like dance, the hobby became an addictive passion. Having studied and practiced photography for 5 years and counting, they have dabbled in fashion shows, studio shoots, weddings, headshots, food, and landscape/nature photography. Due to their love of the west coast swing community, their primary focus for their photography is shooting dance events. Just as a dancer enjoys hitting a break, they enjoy capturing others doing so.  Please check out their work at:!
